Success for AMZ Sponsored Rider at the British Showjumping National Championships!

I’m back at home after a fantastic week with the trade stand at the British Showjumping National Championships at Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire. This was our first visit to this venue and this year it was made extra special as I got to see our junior sponsored rider Michael Mccolm have a very successful visit from Scotland. Michael rode brilliantly to top the National Pony 1.15m Members Cup Championship with his pony AG Dynamo, known as Tommy in the yard. Michael puts so much hard work into his riding I know he’s going to reach amazing heights in his career! Well done to Michael!

Of course, AMZ saddles are loved and used by everyone from leisure riders all the way up to people competing at the pinnacle of their sport, and I get equal pleasure from them all. What matters to me is that they ensure the horse has the comfort and freedom they need, the rider feels secure and balanced and that the saddles are crafted to last.

The BS National Championships was a particularly busy event for me this year because as well as manning the trade stand, I also offered an on-site saddle fitting service. The majority of the alterations that I make to saddles when I visit for a fitting can be done then and there, without the need to take the saddle away. This event was a super opportunity for me to visit lots of my show jumping customers all in one place and ensure their saddles fitted perfectly ready for their turn in the ring!

The trade stand was busy throughout the show with people popping in to take a closer look at my saddles and branded kit. The new sleeveless polo shirts are proving very popular, especially as the weather remains resolutely warm and sunny. What a summer it's been, but I think all horsey folk and farmers would agree with me that some rain would be very welcome indeed at this point. I was also delighted to showcase the full range of Helite air jackets at Stoneleigh as we are now official stockists of the brand. The Helite jackets were developed from the same technology as the brand’s motorcycle airbags, so you know they will be reliable and robust, taking care of your body id the worst happens. I’m a big fan of their range and particularly love the new Zip In 2 - a sleek and stylish model perfect for showjumping.

If you were one of the people who came to the stand to look around and say hello, don’t hesitate to drop me a line if you have any questions about AMZ saddles or my fitting services. I cover Scotland, the north of England and all the way down to the Midlands, so just get in touch! I can bring Helite jackets with me in the van for you to try when I visit too, if you’re tempted to try them out.
